And already I'm fucked off with fandom. Apparently engaging in bondage and similar behaviour is "aberrant behaviour" and all about humiliation and degradation.

People disappoint me constantly..

New Orleans *rocked* on every level. Am still processing everything that happened and will post at some point. Much hilarity, much drinkage and the first pirate sumo belly attack captured on film. I'm still jet lagged and 6 hours behind, have put on about a stone due to the food being just too good and have realised that its too damn cold in this bloody country!

I am now very very skint. Hope all are well and spangly? Will now go back to digging myself out from under the pile of paper on my desk.

Yay for being back! Hoping for a full report so that others can experience your decadance vicariously.

And if it's not sick and aberrant, you're just not doing it right... funnily enough this just got hashed over again in TPM, the fandom where one member of the pairing follows the other one around calling him "Master", so it must be the weather or something.

Disturbing little dust-up, wasn't it? I'm operating under the assumption that those with that attitude don't represent the majority of the list. I refuse to let them spoil my fun. If they're in Orlando I'll be on the other side of the room - where it'll likely be loads more fun anyway. ;-)

Glad you had such a great vacation! Welcome back!

You're back!!!

Yayyy!!!! It's good to have you back! And I'm glad you enjoyed New Orleans at least.

Aberrant behaviour? Don't forget Gothic as well! :)

To cheer you up - favourite quote from Dead Like Me tonight - I'd like to, but I'm having a heavy flow day!

Home safe and sound.

*shakes head at abnormal behavior*, people who are prudes and thinks of the quote from 'The Craft'

Watch out for the weirdos...Mister, we *ARE* the weirdos.

Aberrants

Apparently engaging in bondage and similar behaviour is "aberrant behaviour" and all about humiliation and degradation.

You know, you just gotta learn to ignore the REAL aberrants (and I'm not seeing any hereabouts) and the less enlightened who have no desire to be enlightened and/or open-minded. But there is a reason I lurk on said list and refuse to participate.

Not to mention that I've always been bored with plain vanilla. I like a little flavor in my life. If that makes me aberrant, well, heck, it's better than being proper and normal and typecast into my expected role in life.

People disappoint me constantly..

But on the other hand, look at all the folks who make you smile and surprise you in good ways (that didn't sound too Mary Poppinsish, did it?). Heck, just shoot me now; I have a tendency to see the glass half full instead of half empty. I suppose that makes me ... aberrant? ;)
