I also managed to write some very poor haiku's for the ROG list 'tea challange'. Pleas feel free to laugh and point at how bad they are:
Duncan makes tea
I try not to wrinkle nose
Tastes like perfume!
Silent night,
Methos cups tight a bowl of tea
I wish it was me
Tea leaves stick
To the bottom of my cup
What does that fore tell?
Do you take sugar?
I stare at your lips and say
I'm sweet enough!
They are all supposed to be separate but it was pointed out to me that they kinda read like one poem. If you wish to read them as one poem. Please do :)
In other news, I am writing a report on New Orleans which I will post and I will get round to answering my mail and contributing to fandom again shortly I promise. Work is very hectic and I'm still playing catch-up from being ill and being on holiday. As most of you will know it is Samhain very shortly, this is a big festival for me personally and I've been a bit caught up in sorting myself out for that.
Ms Spooky and Ben are also having a Halloween party this Friday which is horror or halloween fancy dress themed. I bought them a very silly talking skull in the US, it bleeds fake blood and has a motion sensor so when someone walks near it it shouts out various things in a booming voice. They seem very pleased with it though ::grins::
I'm afraid as far as fancy dress goes, I'm being very boring and going as the Angel of Death again, since I have all the costume, (corset, boots, wings, sword etc) I think I'll use the sabre as my sword this time though. The Ex is doing something military and has got some blank caps for his pistol, they are very loud and I am *slightly* worried as I think he and The Lodger have some sort of scam cooked up to scare people. There has been much talk of fake blood packs and the like.
I think I shall stick my fingers in my ears and hum the *I can't hear you song* so no one can blame me for not stopping them, if it all goes horribly wrong.
Apparently a member of the Barbelith message board delighting in the online name of 'Bill Posters' is attending the party. I am reliably informed by several sources that he bears a strong resemblance to a certain Mr Wingfield. ::huge evil smile::: Ben has made me promise not to be *too* predatory round the poor creature as apparently he's quite shy!

I must admit that I have been somewhat disillusioned with the fandom thing of late due in main to some recent kerfuffle which made me more angry then I usually allow myself. I really should know better as well *sigh*
Stil that blip seems to have passed and I just wanted everyone who reads this gumpf that I'm thinking of you and yours and that I do love all your comments and email. I'm just *shite* at answering this stuff!
