A mixture of things

Just read a very thought provoking commentary by maygra which I had to reply to. Now I feel a bit nekkid. Does that sound odd? She definitely touched a chord and I'd highly recommend going and reading what she has to say.

Bouncing quickly back into the shallow end of the great pool of life however I must admit to being very startled while watching Sharpe t'other day. Did anyone else notice/know that it's 'Wesley' from Angel that runs off with Sharpe's wife in 'Sharpe's Revenge' and 'Sharpe's Justice'? Most bizarre!

Of course then I started spawning, hideous deformed x-over plotbunnies. Not as bad as the debacle that was the Queen of Swords/Highlander/Sharpe x-over nightmare from the pit of doom but very nearly....

Thankfully the Lodger pointed out to me that a) I was pathetic at finishing fic and b) All my x-over attempts end up reading like deranged reject Monty Python scripts.

He is a great and wise man, I knew I kept him around for a reason.

Oh and a massive and spangly smooch to the fabulous beeej for my gorgeous new icon. I love you!
