Weekend and Phone Pervs

I had a wonderful weekend as my gorgeous Rae of Sunshine came down and stayed. True, we did have to brave the madness that was the entirety of my family, including my brother, sister-in-law and 3 nieces on saturday but it was only for a short while and it did mean I got my belated Xmas presents...

I now have Brideshead Revisited on DVD. *Squeeee!* Am very happy.

Rae, I, Ben, Ms Spooky and Darth Rich watched Die Another Day on Saturday evening. That movie really is completely pants! I used to love Bond films but this one was just badly written, badly scripted and had some very crap special effects. Still we all had fun MST'ing it to death:

Me: What are cornflake diamonds?
Ben: Conflict Diamonds
Me: What are they?
Ben: Dunno..
Ms Spooky: You get them free with your cereal
Darth Rich: Wouldn't that be bit hard on your teeth?
Rae: ~laughing~
Ben: Kellogg's Diamonds!
Me: I still don't understand what's so special about these diamonds..
Rae: Ssssshhhhh!
Darth Rich: Look Halle Berry in a bikini..

and so on..

Rae must move to Southampton. It has been written in the stars and foretold by the gods.

In other news, I got a dirty phone call last night on my mobile. It was most weird. There I was sitting round Ben's ,watching Angel Season 4 with him, The Lodger and The SethMaster and my phone rings.

When I picked my phone up it said 'Number Withheld' on the screen. That surprised me as I don't know anyone who would do that but I answered it anyway as it could be work related. A male voice "Hello darling". I couldn't hear very well and thought it must be someone I knew but didn't recognise. I asked who it was. The voice replied "Are you on your own?" Then. "Can I wank on your tits?"

Slightly bewildered and rather amused, I started laughing and passed the phone to Ben. I hoped whoever it was would carry on talking and then Ben could answer them. Sadly they hung up. *sighs*

I'd love to know who it was. Various male acquaintances have sworn they haven't posted the picture of my tits from Halloween anywhere so I am assuming its just a random prank call.

It was all very, very odd...

A Quick Slash Q and A

My dear friend Ben (Vice President of S.Q.U.E.E and mastermind of Operation W.I.B.B.L.E) is currently embroiled in a rather interesting discussion (read argument) on a message board regarding fanfic.

In order to enable him to argue more effectively he sent me a quick questionnaire and asked me to fill it in. I asked if he would like some more responses from other fanfic writers and he was suitably delighted by the suggestion:
