In other news, I, The Ex and The Lodger watched Equilibrium yesterday night! Wah? How come no one told me about this film? Everyone looked like an extra from a fetish club, Christian Bale *ROCKED* with *FISTS* of steel, Sean Bean looked seriously edible, fantastic fight scenes, particularly the last scene where Christian Bale's character and the bad guy were sword fighting with guns, cute puppies, my favourite Yeats poem, swords, lunatic sci fi references a-plenty. All in all a great and silly film! This is what The Matrix sequels should have been like..

...I swear the doomed love interest bint in it is the same woman who played Mary Shelley in The Modern Prometheus as well. She has gorgeous eyes.

Gippage and Gossip

Me and the crackling crowie having been having a really interesting conversation (or so I think, she may be humouring me) in my LJ about John Constantine from the Hellblazer comic. This led me to going looking for my some Hellblazer icons, so GIP and also finding some pics from the new Hellblazer movie.

I still say that Keanu Reeves as John Constantine is a fucking travesty and I'm also peeved they are making him american. Gah!

Anyways, this led on to us having a conversation about what are kinks were regarding characters and in fic. Check out crowie's LJ here for some interesting thoughts from her and my wibblings and why not join in. Its a subject with a lot mileage and actually made me *think* about what it is I find attractive about particularly characters..

As regards the showing of PW's next Bliss episode? Here is the info straight from the P.R's mouth:

"The episode will air on TMN (The Movie Network in Canada) on February 28th @ 11pm, and on Oxygen (in the US) on February 29th @ 12AM (so Saturday into Sunday). People should be urged to recheck local listings to be certain. They can also go to the websites for The Movie Network and Oxygen"
