Yay! The Deep 2 Yay!

Apparently goats are the correct thing to offer to the gods when you want someone to write some more of a WIP you are particularly fond of!

So shout it loudly from the rooftops! C M Decarnin has written the second part of The Deep and needless to say its one gigantic orgasm in written form! The only downside is that she had left us at such a cliff hanger that I am going to wear my knees out grovelling for more! *sighs*

The Deep, for the uninitiated, is the follow up to the work of sublime and dark genius that is And Hades Followed Him and Seeds.

Hades is without doubt my favourite Highlander fic written so far. I love lots of others almost as much but this one just wins by a nasal hair. Its heavy on the BDSM, but its BDSM with a brain and a plot and fantastic realization of the characters. I adore it. Oh and if anyone can find me a sub of the quality that Methos is. Let me know please *grins*

Seeds which follows on directly from Hades is another favourite mainly because tree sex is a major kink of mine and because it sealed how hopelessly in love with this Methos I was.

Go read, *please* tell C M Decarnin how wonderful she is and how much you want her to write more. Do it for me if for no other reason. I may cry is this story doesn't get finished!

Secondly, I'd like to rec this delightful tickle-to-the-senses fic by _nightelf called Basking In The Shadow. Its a lovely thoughtful little short with some truly memorable imagery. It leaves me wanting *more*

Thirdly, my *SING* campaign has been greeted with favourable responses from the authors I've tried it out on. The main response seems to be that they are surprised people care/are still interested. You know what this means? It means I need more of you to go *SING* in people's LJ or if you don't want to do LJ then simply email the *SING* phrases to the authors. Its very easy.

Fourthly, the Fandom Escapist Election 2004 looks hysterical! I know I should be voting for Methos but I'm particularly taken with astolat's campaign for Budd/Exley. The bribe of daily fic really does have me wavering, plus the motto cracked me up.
