I'm baaaaack!

Lake Tahoe was wonderful and so was the skiing. We had about 9ft of snow while I was there which was more snow then I have every seen in my life. Fabulous. D-Wayne Lurrve, me and the Ex went snowmobiling as well which was class action of the highest order.

It was particularly wonderful to see Emilie again, we reminisced about New Orleans, went to the spa at the hotel and generally reminded all and sundry, particularly her husband, why it's better that we spend most of the time on separate continents.

I did manage to speak with the beauteous beeej while I was there as well as the delightful and much missed Miss Kittie. I just wish I could have got hold of the Assassin of Evil!

Anyways, am getting my work under control and then hope to be around a little more. I miss you guys and it's wonderful to be welcomed back with such enthusiasm. *smooches*

There is so much gorgeous fic as well. Loads of scrummy HL and savory CSI and delicately salty variety snacks from other fandoms to catch up on. *Squeeeee*

Now if you'll excuse me I think I need to go wreak sudden and unpredictable violence upon a certain someone who appears to have the survival instincts of a lemming.

It's called The Marrying Kind and it has all the usual lastrega hallmarks, you know, blisteringly hot sex, cracking characterisation and wit so sharp you could behead a K'immie with it. On top of this you also have dialog that is so compelling it has developed it's own gravity well and a storyline which romps along like a 6 month old mastiff puppy in a Parisian park.

I adore this writer. She shares my brain, makes me smile, listens to me whine and humors me when I'm being particularly obnoxious. Thank you for the story darling and I really can't wait until May!
