I have a big favour to ask of all of you.desincarne and I really want Bruce Payne (who plays Kell in Endgame) as a guest for HLWW7. So if you could all looby the organizers and keep your fingers crossed for us that would be cool.
It probably won't happen but I have to try. I mean I so wanna ask him to say the "Don't you want to be inside me" line
In other news, am still at home with lurgy. Is getting better though and I am copying vast loads of stuff for people.
Also the utterly beautiful and talentedjanissa11 has written me some Nick/Gil BDSM goodness. It's the first part of a series she plans but it's friends locked in her journal as it's a WIP so I can't link to it. janissa11 is *the* Nick/Gil writer for my money in the CSI fandom. All her writing is superlative but Common Hours which I have read at least 5 times now, is a work of art. Her Nick and Gil are so real and human in this it hurts like fuck at times to read them. Gorgeous stuff.
janissa11 is also one of the few fic writers I have come across who really can write BDSM well. She understands the power dynamics in D/s relationships, in particular, so brilliantly and manages to convey all the emotional resonance so well. Read Boxing The Compass or the Riddles series to see what I mean.
Rather bizarrely,janissa11 also shares a profession with my other adored fic authors, lastrega and ts5000 and pat_t! I guess this means that I have a kink for writers in the medical profession. Hmmm
Maybe instead of Evil Dr Em's Fic!Bitches we should have a Evil Dr Em's Naughty Nurses. ..
