Urk!

Back from Con and missing jhava already! Has a truely amazing time, so good that jhava and I have already signed up for the Atlantis Con next year.

Jason Momoa is huge and very cuddly. I come up to his navel. He's also very, very sweet and very, very friendly and bouncy. Joe Flanigan described him as his Chewbacca and that is remarkably accurate. He's also drop dead gorgeous. I worked up enough courage to ask him "whether Ronon would do anything if he was ordered to? Cue much laughter. He thought about it and the said "No" to which I responded "Shame" and was rewarded with a delightful eyebrow waggle and knee wobbling knowing grin.

Later when danamaree, jedinic, jhava and I were in the restaurant Jason and Joe came in and had lunch together. Jason waved at us and said Hi. We all did are very best not to ogle them too badly despite being well into a second bottle of wine.

Saturday night saw all the guest apart from Joe joining in the disco and dancing like mad bastards. I got smashed as did everyone else I was with. There was much dancing, much looning about and much laughing. Oh, and apparently Jason and I share the same taste in women. When I was sitting on the side of the dance floor gawping in a drunken fashion at one particularly cute girl who was dancing he bounced up behind me and said "Are you staring at the girl in the green dress?" I said "Yes" and then we both agreed that she was very cute. Then he bounced off again to dance before I got a chance to say I thought he was really cute as well....*sighs*

All of you who are smirking into your computer screens because Em has just added another person to the list of People She Has Made a Tit of Herself In Front Of, can just sod off!

There was lots of amusing anecdotes about the series. Apparently David Hewlett really does talk that fast all the time, in the episode where Teyla and Ronon have the mock fight over the food, the actress who plays Teyla really did clock Jason a good one in the eye, Rainbow Francks was terrified when he first met Jason and realised he had to fight him and Jason frequently picks Joe Flanigan up and carries him around!?

All the guests were hilarious, particularly Ellie Harvey who had us all in stitches with her stories about auditions. Aaron Douglas who plays the Chief in Battlestar Galactica also turned up as a bonus guest and he was an absolute riot. His diatribe about how much he hates CSI Miami has to be seen to be believed. Definite value for money!

I think I need a new liver now however and I suspect I may have broken jhava completely...
