I'll be back later with a Kink Update, in the meantime Ben wanted me to pass on his admiration to the Pic!Bitches and a rallying cry to all people who support Operation W.I.B.B.L.E:
They're amazing! Wish my web/pooter fu was up to doing stuff like that. I am totally NOT WORTHY...
We shall spread like a virus, till we eventually reach the dimly-lit cyber-hinterlands of those responsible for choosing the next Bond.
Apparently the rumour-mill has Clive Owen and Jason Isaacs up for consideration, too. While they'd be excellent choices - especially Isaacs (keeping the Highlander connection alive), I gotta have me my Wingfield. I gotta.
I figure they'll be wanting someone who can do what Brosnan did - provide an excellent performance, while catering equally to fans of Fleming/Connery's cruel killer and Moore's smooth playboy. Neither Brosnan nor Dalton were well-known before they were cast, although admittedly probably more famous than Wingfield. Crucially, he looks far younger than he actually is, and is taller and more physically imposing than Brosnan - and, let's be honest, a better actor, although he'll probably never get the chance to prove it as Bond.
He's cleaner cut and looks more "English upper class gentleman" than either Isaacs or Owen, who'd fit more in Connery's mould as dark, brooding sadists - he's also more conventionally pretty than either of them. Don't know what other names are being thrown around...
IN MORE NEWS: John Paul is near the end of his life, and only one man can replace him. WINGFIELD FOR POPE!..
