Okay. My blood-lust email has thrown a wobbly so if you've sent me email I apologise for not being able to reply. I also decided to "take a sicky" (that's the technical term) yesterday so was not at work to pick up any email.

Normal service will resume very shortly.

Finally, I notice I made a grievous error in my Master & Commander recs, no not the writing style which I agree is somewhat broken, (I was not in a good mood), but the fact that I omitted to rec the sparkly and crystalline cruisedirector. Obviously this was a stupid oversight as her gloriously sticky and sybaritic Honey is very hot, very sweet and very well written. Bring on the food!kink fic I say..

I'd also rec highly her Admiration which was written with Ashinae. This was one of the first bits of M & C fic I read and it still stands out as having some of the snappiest dialogue and for both characters voices being so very *them*.

cruisedirector writes in several fandoms and her fic is always worth a look. I would point you in particular at Blinded, which stayed with me for at least three days after I had read it. Haunting and believable and just plain gorgeous!

Now you've done it, I've read my first M&C fic, "Honey" as recced above. My god, the voices are PERFECT.
