..Actually she also wrote Softly Away one of the most heartrending HL fics I've ever read. No matter how many times I read it I am always left with this horrible dull ache in my stomach when I finish...

I made the mistake of reading that one in close connection with amand_r's 'One thousand'. It depressed me for a month. It's a brilliant story - both are, but by god, I can't reread them.
