Is there anyone here who is *remotely* surprised by the above result? No, somehow I thought not!
In other news I got horribly drunk at the weekend and broke at *least* 4 of my New Year's Resolutions. Bah!
On the up side, I did get to see Demon Horse on Sunday. For those of you who are unaware, I own third level demon, cleverly disguised as a fat, 14hh, grey, New Forest pony. I've had him since he was 2 and he's now 20. Demon Horse has given me many moments of great excitement and joy in my life, he's also been responsible for 90% of my broken bones and other injuries.
It was great to see him and verify for my self that he was very well and coming through the winter with his usual rolls of fat still intact. Lucy, the kindly Goddess who keeps an eye on him for me and generally makes my life hugely simplified by her very existence, had just moved him to a new field.
This meant I spent the first half an hour at the stable yard, watching him chase and attempt to stamp on and kill various pheasants that were foolish enough to try and remain in the field with him. Entertaining stuff! Its good to know that even at 20 he's still his usual belligerent and territorial self *grins*
Needless to say with all the rain we've been having he's more brown then grey and bears a striking resemblance to an ambulatory compost heap...with teeth. We had a nice friendly meeting, despite the mud, until one of the other ponies who shares the field with Demon Horse decided to try and come say Hi to me, and then everything dissolved into a mess of many flying hooves and high pitched squealing! *sighs*
For some reason, all the males in my life be they four legged or two legged are possessive, aggressive, stubborn, bad tempered, self centred, overly intelligent, demanding, egotistical bastards...
*wryly* Is it me or am I just lucky
