It's the kind of queer theory you get when the only 'queers' you know are vapid pretty idiots (her own characterisation of them, which was dreadfully kind of her, I thought) and you hoenstly believe gay men have to have painful sex to enjoy themselves.
I bet this woman is actually considered an intellectual in her own strange circles. People probably just sit there and nod and go 'wtf' to themselves as they wince and shift about from not having used lube during sex the night before.
