Over the weekend I became a small puddle of goo. Nothing much was accomplished apart from the hoovering of the downstairs part of the Commune I run/own/live in.

The Ex was very organised and helpful and fixed cupboards and finally got both the video taping stuff working and the CD burner, which means I can *finally* get on and tape all the stuff I've promised people and also burn CD's for loads of people.

I sweated alot and moaned.

I did however get to see Demon Horse who is very well and very fat. We eyed each without enthusiasm from different ends of the field until he realised I had no intention of doing anything with him in all the heat whereupon he came and said hello and tried to eat my hair.

Flynn was proclaimed "very healthy" by the vet who then commended me for not allowing him to get fat. She also thought he was exceptionally cute!? I was suitably flattered and thought I wouldn't mention the fact that he is the rodent slaughterer extraordinaire and one cat ecological disaster!

Watched a lot of Angel Season 2 on Sunday night with The Lodger. I *do* like Lindsey he reminds me of slightly less feral Deacon Frost from Blade. Very nummy! It also truns out (somewhat fortuitously) that Caroline has Buffy Season Shit on DVD so we can borrow that. Yay!

Oh and back on the Sharpe oddness/crossover note. Watched Sharpe's 'Waterloo' and realised that its Paul Bettany (Knight's Tale and A Beautiful Mind) playing the HRH Prince of The Netherlands. Triple Yay! I love him. It would seem that Sharpe was an excellent breeding ground for some of my fave actors!

Fear not however! I strangled the x-over bunnies as soon as they were born. A Knights Tale/Highlander/Sharpe crossover is too horrible to contemplate.

Not to mention complicated. All the flashbacks alone would make me feel ill!

Well anyway, I may well be a bit quiet for a while as I have a lot of work to get done this week and no secretary *sighs*. This means I have to cajole/threaten/beg all the other secretaries to do my work which is hard work and very tiresome.

Other then that am still trying to wrangle dates for New Orleans in October which as usual when it comes to anything to do with my friends (both cyber and RL) is akin to trying to herd cats uphill in the rain!

That is all
