Hideously busy so I've been not posting anything except fannish stuff. So now I though fuck it, lets bore everyone to death with some real life gubbins..
Actually this is simply an excuse for me to *gloat* horribly over the fact that last Saturday I and the Mother, accompanied by Mad Vicki, Heavily Pregnant Sara and her Mother plus Foxy Jo went to see All's Well That Ends Well at the Gielgud Theatre in London. The utterly awesome Dame Judi Dench was playing the Countess of Rossillion and the performance *rocked* with the mightiest *fists* of steel!
Amusingly, the plot of of All's Well can basically be summed up as "Bertram's a bit a knob really!", its not one of The Bard's best plays but the cast and direction in this production was of such a high quality that I adored every last second. I really muct get my act together to go to the theatre more often!
Other then this I've mainly been working and attempting not to strangle either The Lodger or The Ex who are butting heads a bit. Oh joy!
The new 'puter is sex personified. Seriously if I could shag it I would! Darth Rich came over yesterday evening and showed me how to use various clever things on it and loaded up much deeply dodgy software. I now should be able to copy DVD's. Yay! So get in line if you want a DVD of Uncovered or ROS or whatever..
Darth Rich and I also watched more Lexx. I think I hurt something laughing at the episode called 'A Midsummer's Nightmare. Honestly, words fail me to describe this..you just will have to go watch and see for yourself.
..It didn't help that Oberon bore a more then striking resemblance to Martin the regular Saturday night DJ at my local sleaze pit The Dungeon. I forsee much mocking and dancing around singing "O, O, Oberon..." in my future! *grins*
How can you not love a show where you get lines like:
Stanley Tweadle: "I'm strictly a front door to enter the party kinda guy"
Oberon: "Ahh well my portal of preference is the back door.."
You know what I want? I *really* want the Yo-Way-Oh song as a ringtone for my Nokia mobile. If anyone finds one out there can they let me know?
I also really want an OT3 icon which flashes between pics of Methos, Byron and the goat..
*looks at sky and whistles*
On that note I'm going home!

Hey,
whoo hoo! Lexx-icon (almost a grammatical joke there- sorry!)
I love Ki on that show, and I tried to get into it, but just couldn't. Despite the fact that Michael McManus (I think that's his name) as Ki is sex on undead-ish legs, he's also ther only one in the whole cast who can act- Stanley, the girl and, in particular, the annoying robot head are so wooden I'm surprised they didn't get Deathwatch Beetle during production!
Wirrrn
btw- then again, they brought it on themselves by going to war with the Alien Insect Race. Has Starship Troopers taught you humans nothing? We Intergalactic insects cannot be beaten!

I couldn't see the character 'Prince' though without wondering why LaCorix was taking a break from tormenting Nick.

You nearly killed me when you texted that line to me. I loved that ep.

Hmmm- Loved FOREVER KNIGHT. I recently interviewed Thea Gill (Lindsay on Queer as Fok) and made a friend forf life when I remembered her as a victim on that show!
