Gacked from the glorious bigtitch this article by Terry Jones proves yet again that he remains the only other man, (apart from Stephen Fry) who I would willingly marry and bear children for. Undoubtedly someone should construct a new religion around him.

For those of you who didn't watch Mr Jones' TV series on Medieval England, you missed out. I think my favorite part was where he was given his own coat of arms by the School of Heraldry. The motto was 'He is not the Messiah' in Latin. Class!

On a different note, loathe as I am to even delve into the dismal pit that is politics I would just like to say to all the americans I love: "Dudes! Your country is turning into a seriously scary place to be. Wanna come live with me?"

I have also realised, rather belatedly, that Black Books is a work of genius and that Bernard is *obviously* the bastard offspring of The Ex and The Lodger!

..Its also highly possible that if Ms Spooky and I were to have a mutant child then it would be Fran...

I kept meaning to watch that Terry Jones series! But then I kept not being home for it. Sigh. At least I caught all of this season of Black Books (while developing a disturbing crush on Bernard. If he ever washes that hair of his, I may be in danger.)

Would love to come live with you, sweetie. :) But someone needs to stay here and fight back. I've never been much of a political person, but this even has me writing letters. However, if the election goes badly in the fall, I may change my mind....

I'm with beej. For now, I'm staying here and fighting it out. I keep telling hubby we should move to Texas just to start evening the votes out. Except that if I went there, I'd probably get in criminal trouble.

...YES!!! I admire those that would willingly stay, given the choice, but my girlfriend and I are planning on moving out of the country as soon as we graduate from college (3 more years), if things continue as they are. Hopefully, we won't have to, but the possibility is there.
