Mmm, blood. Violent is good. I'm all over the love/hate/need/fucked-up-ness that you can heap on the pairing, myself. I know you know Ladonna King's fic, but you may have missed Genevieve and Parda's 'Long Have I Waited', which is long, lovely, bittersweet, and very satisfying (well, if you're me). It's more gen than slash, though, which is a turnoff for some.
