..I can't say enough about how great the emergency services and the people of London are! I'm deeply impressed with how everyone reacted and how contained our government is being. Colour me surprised!

Thanks to all of my flist and beyond who wished me well, checked up on me and generally made me remember that not all humans are worthless.

I'm actually off to Rome tomorrow, very early. I'll be back on Monday sometime. I am definitely in need of a little r & r and am looking forward to it immensely.

Yeah the emergency services have been fantastic and so has the government and everyone. No mass hysteria going on or fingers pointed. I was worried that we might get a violent knee jerk reaction like of which has happened before *cough*Bushandneoconservativecronies*cough* but that doesn't seem to be the case, atleast not yet.
