So, following the Doctor's appt this morning it would appear I have to go have my chest x-rayed. Oh joy! There is part of me that is hoping this means I have TB. That's a very goth disease and it means I can be all pale and interesting and languish. I've always wanted to languish..
Those of you of a medical persuasion can probably tell me whether this is something I should be concerned over. I think I ran out of 'concerned' juice some time last month.
I also have to lose a stone and a half in weight since I am not the optimum weight for my height. I'm not obese apparently but the doctor wants all my stats in the green (as it were) before they do any more prodding around to find out why my body hates me.
Oh and due to the lung problems I am not to exercise a lot, so the weight will have to come off by diet change.
So no cigarettes, no alcohol, no chocolate, no take-aways and no cheese.
Can someone just shoot me now please?
Still, one bright spot in the sea of DOOOM is that my lascivious
lastrega has just posted the new part of WIP called The Phoneician Caper in her LJ. It is a thing of joy as always. Go read and then beg her for more. Shameless begging always turns her on..
And my Magnificent Seven season one dvds turned up in the post this morning. So that was good.
Please excuse me, I'm going to be over here in the dark corner, reading porn and attempting to rationalize why developing a dependency on a Class A drug would not be a good response to all these exciting health revelations!

I don't think getting your chest xrayed necessarily means something bad. Unless they find something, then it'll be bad. But it's probably worse if they do the xray and then don't find anything, coz then you don't have a diagnosis. Which sucks ass. So if they do find something, and it's treatable, then it's good. But bad, coz it's never good to have something wrong. But it's worse to have something wrong that can't be treated. *nods solemnly*
No chocolate, though... *shudders* That's evil.
*sends heal-y thoughts*
