Didn't go and see Big Fish last night due to power cuts and work. Bah!

Oh and for those of you who are *aware* of the whole Daily Mirror letter debacle, the letter with my name on it will not be in this weekend's Mirror Magazine after all. Apparently they had to do a reprint due to all the letters they received about 'I'm a Celebrity..' *cringes*

So it will be in next weekend's edition, unless I'm really lucky and my darling Rae of Sunshine or her pet editor forget about my most heinous sin. *scowls*

Note to self: Never mention Rae and ballet in the same sentence *ever* again, or at lest not in public!

Well its Icky-Icky-Schmoopy-Lurrrve-Puke Day tomorrow, I'm having a meal cooked for me tonight by The Ex. I have a sneaking suspicion that he may have paid to whisk me away for a weekend sometime in the near future as he's being deeply shady and mysterious about the whole issue! I have to admit to being intrigued despite myself. I have feeling it may be something to do with Warwick Castle.

[Just to explain, I won the bet, he, I and The Lodger were having about which castle would be No 1 in the "UK's favourite Castles" show that was on the other night. I won. I *rock* supremely! The Ex was supremely put out that my Warwick beat Beaumaris]

Well anyway, enough explanation of the ins and outs of my exciting life! I hope you *all* get showered with gifts by adoring minions and if not then remember that I love you :)

Ooooh and look what I adopted:

I adopted a cute lil' death fetus
from Fetusmart! Hooray fetus!

Then rather inevitably:

I adopted a cute lil' gothy fetus
from Fetusmart! Hooray fetus!

and then because the two other fetus' forced me to:

I adopted a cute lil' ninja fetus
from Fetusmart! Hooray fetus!

Thank Crunchie its Friday!

I am turning into that bloke from High Fidelity...*grins*
Ok, just cos my beauteous belly dancing [personal profile] beeej asked:

My Top 5 Films

1. Bladerunner
2. LA Confidential
3. The Star Wars Trilogy (original versions)
4. Grosse Pointe Blanc
5. Fight Club/The LOTR Trilogy

I'm cheating a bit on the last one as I've not settled yet on whether the LOTR films are gonna be in the Top 5 or not. I need longer to assess their impact on me!

You see, when I say, my Top 5 films, I mean the films I can watch over and over, have committed large chunks of dialogue to mind and generally adore. Believe me, you don't wanna *know* the Top 10! *grins*

Oh and before you ask, sadly Highlander got edged out by Fight Club.

Oooh and while I'm talking about films I watched sex, lies and videotape last night with The Ex. I haven't seen that film since I was about 18/19 and wow! I mean seriously, Wow! James Spader *rocks* and what a very clever, well thought out, intelligently handled *adult* film. I thought it was good when I saw it before but I don't think I appreciated just how clever it is until I saw it this time. Certainly if anyone is interested in seeing beautifully executed d/s and powerplay elements in relationships then watch this film. It really sharply punctures the smug married syndrome and highlights all those ghastly common place lies we make to ourselves. Outstanding stuff!

The scene where the cheating husband watches his soon to be ex-wife transform into this in control goddess is just..Guh! Oh
and James Spader is too yummy for words. I want.

So your Top 5?
I'd just like to say that what [personal profile] thebratqueen writes here about the whole gay marriage thing *ROCKS*, as does she.

I can only add my own support to everything she says and the desire to snog her senseless should I ever have the chance to meet her..
