Urge to kill is still rising so I am going to avoid the lists at the moment for fear I will injure someone.
What have I been doing? I dunno actually, its all an exciting blur. I did go and see Jane's Addiction last Friday in Nottingham which was an utterly spangly experience. Perry Farrell is a rock *god* and he and the guitarist Dave Navarro are so cute together on stage that I'm amazed there is not more RPS about them out there..
Particular highlights were everyone singing along to 'Stop!' and them playing 'Jane Says' as an encore. A wonderful hot and sweaty time was had by all. It was also lovely to see La Mad Vicki again and catch up on all the gossip.
Other then that work still sux and guess what...
No secretary again. I have, however, cunningly bagged the cute Emma to work for me today, so I'm not too bothered. Tonight I'm going to see Black Rebel Motorcycle Club in Brixton with my Rae of Sunshine and The Lodger. Should be fun. I am absolutely knackered though so I shall be keeping the *rock* to a minimum :)
There 's been lots of new fic about which makes me a happy Em. Now I just need to find the time to go read them all. *sigh*
Oh and I saw Matrix Revolutions yesterday night with The Ex and Darth Rich. It sucketh! It sucketh mightily! Re-loaded was okay-ish, if a trifle disappointing but this was really not very good at all. Hugo Weaving was, as ever, a complete genius but that was just not enough to save it.
Sad, really because the first Matrix film blew me away. Its one of the few films I have seen in which the audience spontaneously burst into applause after certain scenes and it seems such a shame that they threw all that potential away.
Certainly not a patch on Kill Bill anyway. Now that film did *rock* and man was Lucy Liu hot! Oh and the swords, oh the swords were just drooooooool.
Have decided to go to Egypt for Xmas. Yay! Have also somehow managed to agree to go skiing straight after the HLDU Walkabout thing in February which means I'm going to be flying into LA from the UK on the Friday and then instead of going home I'll fly straight from LA to somewhere in France where I'll get picked up either by The Ex or someone else in the skiing party and taken to the resort. *boggle*
Why do I agree to these things?
