...or Em's quest for more smut fixes to feed her habit
All this recent hoo-ha over BDSM and kink in fanfic had me thinking, couple that with all these 10 Unpopular Fannish Opinions that have been popping up all over LJ and I realised that I have, sadly, the need to make another confession to you all:
I read slash because it turns me on.
Yes, I'm afraid its true. I read slash fanfic for many, many reasons but the main one is that it makes me wet and horny. Het fanfic (with a few notable exceptions) just does not do it for me, its got to be cute man on man or woman on woman to get my juices flowing.
Now I don't know about anyone else but my libido is quite discriminating. It won't *rev* for badly written stories, poor spelling or contrived plot ideas. Its also not to keen on schmoopy twoo wuv fests... but that's a whole other story.
Within some areas of fandom,however, it would appear that the ability to write good porn is somewhat sneered at, much as the ability to write genuinely humorous stories sems to be underrated.
In an attempt to re-dress this balance slightly, and also as a blatant self-serving exercise to feed my kink!fic addiction, I wonder if anyone would be interested in taking part in a Kink!Fic/Pic Xtravaganza?
To enter all you would need to do is produce me a new piece of writing, art, poetry, smut etc which is kink themed. I'm looking for serious smut here, with a kinky twist, so use your imagination! Obviously some type of actual *story* would be nice but I'd be happy with PWP's or just plain porn.
Since Highlander is my major fandom these days I'd love for them all to be HL entries preferably involving Methos and serious BDSM...

I do however realise that I can't just indulge my own particular kinks all the time so this challenge would be open to any fandom, any pairing, RPS or chan not a problem, cross-overs positively encouraged.*
The only proviso would be that if you step outside the bounds of legality or taste I shall be forced to ignore you.
Ideally I'd like to host all the entries (if there are any) somewhere on a webpage but seeing as I have the HTML skills of a small pebble I would really need some assistance in this area. *makes big kitten eyes*
Is anyone interested in taking part or should I just go back to surfing the internet for my kink fix?

I wish my Kink-o-meter was working. I can't even think of a scenario - and when your primary fandom involves four pretty boys who run around with sword, wires and claws in leather, has canon erotic asphyxiation and threeeoms (het, alas), then you know the juices have dried. I will try to write something. But perhaps I burned myself out with all the Methos torture stuff I wrote. A girl has only so much she can vomit forth without having to go back and grow a new stomach - like sea slugs.

Ideally I'd slash Deacon with Methos but do you know Methos well? It would have to be handled well. I like Deacon because he's one of the few vampires I think are *real* not wimpy gothboys. Next choice would be Spike I guess, pre-soul or perhaps Angelus.
