I have *finally* booked my flights for the HLDU Walkabout Workshop in LA!
For those of you who are not aware the fabulous HLDU are hosting a rather special weekend which runs from the 28th-29th February. Absolute shedloads of Highlander actors and writers and directors and the like will be attending. This is *not* a convention its really just an opportunity to discuss the episodes with people who actually created them.
I am very excited to be attending not least because I get to share a room with the fabulous belly-dancing
beeej for the weekend *waggles eyebrows*
For those who wish to know, I will be arriving at 14.45 on Friday 27th February, which probably means I shall be at the hotel about 16.00.
I leave on Monday 1st March at 12.50 and arrive in UK at 09.25 on Tuesday 2nd March. *Then* I get back on a plane to fly to Turin in Italy which is the closest airport to where I am going skiing. I arrive in Turin at 16.45. I get back to the UK (by car = boat this time, just for variety) late on Monday 8th March..
..Obviously I am completely insane and am going to die!
If that particular little jaunt does not kill me/given me deep vein thrombosis, then I'm also attending the PWFC Convention in Orlando which runs from May 14th to 16th.
This has a particularly high *Squeeeee* factor because it features not only the delectable Peter Wingfield but also the delightful Valentine Pelka! I also get to behave in an inappropriate fashion with not only the fabulous
beeej but also the scrumptious
amand_r. All inhabitants of Orlando, be warned! *grins*
So basically, if any of you are around or about these places during this time or infact attending the same events, please do come say hello. I shall no doubt be in the bar and while I don't promise to be coherent, I will be delighted to meet any and all of you who wish to drop by.
Oh and I am apologising now, in advance, for anything I may do/say at either of these gatherings on the grounds that I shall be either insane with jet-lag and/or over caffeinated and/or drunk.
This has been a public service announcement on behalf of Evil Dr Em Inc. You may now return to your regularly scheduled fandom drooling.

In any case, we'll be there, and I may very well wear my Sant-r hat to commemorate. Anyone who knows me can tell you that the Sant-r hat, my friend, means party.
