Ahoy there me hearties! I have kink!fic recs for ye of the Pirates variety.
First of all I have to rec the fantabulous Barb G she who wrote my much beloved The Hand and The Book Series. Both these story arcs contain some of the hottest and best written Methos!Torture stories available along with an absolute *cracking* storyline and dialogue. Non Con, Torture, Tattoos, inventive use of vegetation and Amanda, its all here. Special mention has to be made in particular for the utterly delightful After Gardening which is one of the most sumptuously accurate and witty depictions of d/s roleplay within an established relationship, I have ever read and with nary a drop of blood spilt! I mean who *wouldn't* want this Methos in their home? *sighs*
Um, okay I'm digressing horribly. I'm reccing other fandoms not HL. Slap me someone!
Right. Back to Barb G. Imagine my squirglings of delight when I realised she'd also written in the PoTc fandom. So without further ado I give you Rum,Sodomy And The Brand and Any Port which are gorgeously dark and utterly believable Jack/Will stories. Go read and enjoy and then beg Barb G for more

ciceqi her Monkey Finger is a joy to read. As always her dialogue is spot on. I could almost *smell* Jack reading this and it's a thing of beauty and very hot. If you've not read any of ciceqi's fic before then I urge you to run, not walk to her webpage and sample the many delights it has to offer. Her HL fic is to die for..
As you've probably already guessed, I'm somewhat hooked on the Will/Jack pairing. *grins* I stumbled across Webcrowmancer and the very edible trilogy Once In A Blue Moon by chance and I thank my stars I did. Swashbuckling story, good characterisation and lots of hot sex. What more could you ask for?
What else has floated my boat? Oh yes, the incrediblepermetaform whose short fics are like delicate origami creations, sparse, fiendishly clever and not a word out of place. I can't choose between Sunstroke or Asphyxiation they are both as beautiful as each other. However it is Binding which whispers darkly to me at night and so wins my favour by a whisker!
Oh and for a quick snicker read her Jealousy!
This next rec is not slash (try not to faint), but it grabbed my imagination and dragged it kicking and screaming into the bushes! Zara Hemla's The Slippery Road is a highly probable Jack Sparrow origin with added hot slave girl action.
Then we have the multiple author magnificence which is The ‘882 Ways to Appease the Heathen Gods Drabble Challenge which had me in cheerful hysterics for a long while and showcases some breathtaking talent. Huzzah!
It worth mentioning in passing that a long time ago I recced the sparklingshrift's Hurricane Jack and I'm going to do it again. Why? Because there may be some of you out there who have missed this gem of a story and also because its *still* my favourite Jack/Will story and the benchmark against which all are judged.
Finally there is the ever wonderfulastolat who seems to have a *thing* about the ocean at the moment. *grins* Her short The Breaking Wave is another example of just what an awesome writer this lady is. 500 words of pirate perfection. Simply adorable.
