*insert loud fanfare*

And so, rather belatedly, I announce the entries I have so far received for [personal profile] crowie's Kink!Pic Challenge!

For those of you not aware, my gorgeous and extremely talented Pic!Bitch [personal profile] crowie created an incredibly hot picture manip for my Kink!Fic webpage. She then issued a challenge for people to write stories inspired by it.

The deadline for this was May 1st although to be honest I'm going to extend it because I, for one, am having far too much fun with this.

So far, I have recieved the following:

The Retreat - Discovery by Aethervox. A new writer who managed to reduce me to wordless Guh-ness very quickly. This story is very well thought out and I for one would *love* to read more in this universe. Warning: YOu will never look at melons in the same way again once you have read this fic!

Luxury by Purple pen. This is a very well crafted 'scene' in the true sense of the word! Yummy and bursting with emotional intensity, this is another new writer who is going to be pestered by me mercilessly for more!

So go read and enjoy and then wipe the drool off and feedback the authors!

So my darling [personal profile] crowie two entries for you to consider. I have a feeling there may be a few more, so hold off on deciding a winner just yet! *grins*

I should add that [personal profile] crowie has worked her pictorial magic again and created two dazzling new wallpapers. One is Highlander themed and the other is called Passion and is basically an accompanying piece for the manip that she did for the Kink!Pic Challenge. Needless to say, its utterly wibble inducing!

Infact, I'd just like to take this opportunity to sing loudly the praises of [personal profile] crowie or Sica as she is also known in fandom. One of the upsides of being ill was that I finally got a chance to test out my new broadband connection and look at the songvids that she had done.

Yes she also does songvids! There is *no* end to her talents.

If you've not watched any of Sica's songvids I heartily recommend that you do. They can be found here and they are all fabulous. Of the Highlander ones I am particularly fond of the schmoopy joy of I've Got You babe and the utter hysterical genius of Gaelic Song. The last one in particular has me snarfing coffee all over the place, I speak irish and believe me its horribly accurate! *grins*

You also have to watch the very spangly Angel/Lindsey vid she has done called Good Ol' Fashioned Lawyerboy. Definitely the finest and wittiest take on this pairing I have seen. Oh and of course I've Got No Strings which made me inhale liquid again..

So all hail [personal profile] crowie, the Icelandic Queen of the Graphics package! Thank you for contributing and participating in all my hare brained schemes, thank you for being one of the few people I can discuss comics with and not feel like a freak, thank you for liking all the same characters as me and for similar reasons and most of all thank you for being gorgeous and brightening my day with your comments and posts!

Next time we have a list gathering. You *have to come!

Re: Hey its all true!

Oh I like the entries *g*, and I'll choose a winner but not just yet (hungover today after going out clubbing yesterday, thursday? hey Im a student!)

Gaelic song was made in around 4 hours in total, from having the song pop up on my random playlist which spurred me into motion. I don't think I can take credit for the funny of it though. The song itself does all the work.

The Arrogant Worms (the band that made the song) are a hillarious canadian band. They got other brilliant tunes like 'I am cow' (with lyrics that go in a church hymn style 'I am Cow, here me moo, I weigh twice as much as you, and I look good on a barbeque'). There's the Mounty Song, and Canada is Really Big. The Last Saskatchewan Pirate and other gems.
