Amazing isn't it, I ask a question in my previous post because of a quandary I was in concerning some real life issues and it promptly brings out Capt Paranoia in various people.

So I shall state again for the record and maybe this time those concerned will take this in.

My comments were in relation to someone I know *physically* in real life. It has *NOTHING* to do with fandom, slash or anything else involving the internet except for the fact that the comment in question is on an LJ. I simply wanted some views on an ethical issue involving LJ's and thought asking people who use LJ would be the best option..

Thank you, however, to all the people in question who responded with helpful advice and their thoughts. It gave me other perspectives to think on and a chance to clarify exactly how and why I felt the way I did about the situation.

Oh and message for the anonymous poster who responded to my post. I've unscreened your comment and am torn between being baffled by the height of your arrogance at assuming this is about you or amused at what a moron you have yet again proved yourself to be. I have a fairly good idea who you are and quite frankly you should get a fucking life!

Not everything is about you and all you do is illustrate exactly how pathetic and self involved you are. Next time. Have the fucking guts to sign your name or post in person.

(T--t)-gave permission for a sequel to one of *her* stories - made suggestions for corrections and posted it on her site -and *raved* about what a *great* writer Leslie is.

"tritorella" (my, aren't you a coy one) said, actually, that she would not stop anyone write a sequel to any of her stories. I made no suggestions for corrections - in fact, I strenuously resisted making comments on what turned out to be a really lousy story. I archived it, because I've been archiving her stories without any interest for well over a year. Yes, some of her stories were good. a lot of them are not and the later ones are just crap. And now, since I have decided, as I advised Leslie some time ago, I only wish to archive friends or people whose work I actively admire (and since the archive is, after all, paid for entirely by me), I've chosen not to archive her stuff any more. Anything else is pure imagination on your part - I call it imagination, others might just call it plain dishonesty.

As for the rest of your message - I think it speaks for itself. Unlike the poeople you act as a mouthpiece for.

Sorry, Em

Seeing as Tritorella, the great, the almighty, the lying coward, has seen fit to not let me post to *her* lj... let me just say this and I'll be on my way out your hair.

As I have *seen* the comments you (Trit) made to Leslie about *the story* - seen the email containing your permission - and seen the (now known) false praise you heaped upon her fic...

I don't believe you.

I'm not the dishonest one here - nor do I speak as a 'mouthpiece' for anyone. Accuse me of both to your heart's content. My friends know better.

Your friends, otoh, are fooling themselves.

They'll learn, though. Soon as you turn on them, they'll learn. And you will. It's inevitable.

You are SO right!
I am making an idiot of myself.
Talking to brick walls is just plain stupid.
I really didn't have anything against you, Em - or Trit for that matter.
I should have ignored the whole thing and let your words stand alone. Because? Hell, I'm not the only one to take offense. I'm the only one silly enough to have said anything.
Shoulda known better than to have wasted words on you and Trit.
My mistake.
