A particular joy at this Con was meeting so many of the people I only know by screen name and also getting to see my friends again. Much love, hugs and inappropriate groping, in particular to my long suffering and beauteous roomatebeeej, Pat, Patty, Monica, elistaire, amand_r, danawoods, Sandy, Nancye and Marilyn You all *ROCK* with mighty fists of steel and it was so great to see you all and get drunk in your company!
The tattoo is healing nicely and looks fantastic. It occurred to me yesterday that a knotwork band was a fortuitous choice given the associations that are attached to the design. It's a unique reminder of a very special weekend and friendships which I hope will last as long as it does :)
As always heartfelt adoration to the guests, Peter, Jim and David who gave so much and who left me feeling all warm and fuzzy and loved. Peter seems to get more beautiful each time I meet him, Jim more sexy and David more huggable.
Highlights of the weekend in no particular order:
1. Getting tattoos withbeeej and Pat
2. Chatting to Peter at the cocktail party generally and in particular about his tattoo *grins*

3. Jim's concert - The Byrnettes were hysterical!
4. Monica's reaction to my boots!
5. Project Edan - Marilyn you are mighty and I am honoured to be a part of all you do
6. The panel about non-speaking acting with David, Peter and Jim
7. Val's telephone interview
8. American supermarkets - spray cheese and popcorn!
9. BDSM 101 at the after concert drinking fest!
10. Finally getting my hands on the sword I bought at the HL Walkabout! - and the messages Peter had written on it. Thanks again to the HLWW crew who remain second to none for spangly brilliance.
11.amand_r, danawoods and the Bitchs get cut and My head is pasted on YAY lunacy and providing the entertainment at the brunch!

In case any of you at the Con were at all confused the UK and Europe contribution to the Goodie bag was the can of Idris Ginger Beer. Hope you enjoyed it.
I should explain that Idris is the name of a welsh dragon who featured in an animated British children's tv programme in the 70's called Ivor The Engine. The entire show was set in Wales and followed the adventures of Ivor and his driver Jones The Steam
....yes I am easily amused! *grins*
I miss everyone horribly now and cannot believe that it will be another year before I see you all in Oz. *sniffle*lastrega and bigtitch you were missed and its gonna be *such* a riot if we all go to HLDU6!
