You know, I like kerfluffles, but I'm kinda hoping she's just trying to participate in fandom in a non-asshat way, instead of pulling one over on people (i'm nice that way; the medical community is stumped).

I am highly dubious about that given she posted under a different name. Given her stance on never being brow beaten or bullied and always standing up for what she believes , I find her posting her story under a sock the height of hypocrisy.

To be honest I'm happy for her to keep posting and contributing if she carries on producing fic like that. It only underlines what a twat she is.

But if it's the latter, I'd say she won this round.

Sure it's hypocritical, but from a nice viewpoint, she probably just wanted to start over fresh.

Realistically, now, I have a hard time buying that she's seen the light and changed her ways, but unless she repeats her past idiocies or loses her shit over honest critique, eh whatever.

Oh, and I find these posts and the comments very comforting. All the praise on lists for a story that had its nice moments but was generally clichéd, naive, and not very impressive weirded me out, even if some of it may have been of the "wahay, new author that doesn't entirely suck!" variety.
