the documentary about it was horrid. they showed some of the starving and effected scenes to get the musicians in the mood (queue lots of tears) and then brought out a woman who was one of the babies in the scenes to thank everyone via translator for all they were doing. It was horrid it was painful and embarrassing ;o(
it was the shots of them standing around crying as they watched the dying babies which got to me. I mean, it looked like a RADA class on how to fake emotion. What was incredibly ironic was that just before I saw this shit on TV, i'd only minutes before had the original BandAid vid up on the computer, and there's no comparison for sound or genuine charm. But Paul McCartney was involved in the second one, and he's become the master of faked warmth. It made me ill watching it, it really did.
