I saw A-ha play live last night at Wembley. That was a trip down nostalgia highway. Last time I saw them play live I was 13.

Morten Harket clearly has a picture hidden somewhere. The man is still ridiculously pretty and has a remarkably lovely voice. After listening to the lyrics of some of their songs I am now, unsurprised that I then went on to become a goth. For a teeny pop band, their songs are remarkably full of existential angst! Wembley sucks as a venue though.

Am still ill but back at work. According to the doctor I am going to kill myself very shortly. On that cheerful note, I have officially given up smoking and my various other unhealthy practices, in favour of having some form of life which does not involve sounding like Darth Vader and feeling like ectoplasm.

Yes, I know I've said this before but I do, actually, feel positive about doing this now. Am fed up with being ill all the time.

Am woefully behind on everything. Fandom is somewhat taking a back seat while I attempt to deal with RL.

OMG, A-ha. There's a trip in the way-back machine. That brings back memories of much dancing and drinking and big hair. No, I mean really big hair. On purpose. I loved the 80's!

And go you on the quitting smoking and getting healthy. It sucks when we can't treat our bodies with the disregard we did in our 20's, doesn't it? But I know you can do it. Whenever you want a cigarette, read porn instead. *distracts you with boy kissing icon*
