You should definitely not be flamed for having your own opinion on this. The fact I don't agree with you makes very little difference to the fact I still consider you a friend or that I respect your opinions :)
I think I should make it clear to both you and Sonia that while I may disapprove or question your *actions*, that is not the same as disapproving of *you.* I am capable of disliking a person *and* their actions (and their views and their writing abilities and the fact their bum is too big) but I will usually make it cystal clear that this is the case - usually by just ignoring that person.
But like you, I prefer to be upfront with my views and my opinions. however, it has got me into a lot of shit in my life :)
I wasn't aware fuckface had flamed you off-list. I thought she was far to grand to respond to her critics. I hoped you've framed it. You know, for when that pro novel final gets published and she gets the recognition so long and so unfairly denied her. Then you can wipe a tear from your eye and say with a sniff, I too could have been a contender if only I'd listen to Jeylan's advice.
