No need to get the guilt on for this. It happens. Gabriel (See Gay Kitty of Jiggly Doom and Glory) has had a couple of teeth pulled, mainly due to the fact that he likes gnawing on things he shouldn't (i.e stainless steel bar) and broke them off to the point where they infected, but that's besides the point.
Flynn will be fine in a few days, just make sure to keep an eye on him, the anasthetic can do some weird things to a cat's mentality before it's completely faded. Gushy food and lots of love. He'll be fine ;) *hugs for the distressed cat mummy*
